The packaging is simple yet classy with a bow holding the tape onto the heavy stock.<\/p>\n<p>The sound and style of Temple of Set remind me much of Temple of Tiermes and it&#8217;s not just because they have similar names. With this self-titled tape you will get long droning tracks of distorted synth tones. The production is alright being quite crisp and clear.<\/p>\n<p>The tracks don&#8217;t evolve much but rather they just &#8220;are&#8221; with bending frequencies and a good dosage of noise yet they usually only consist of one or two layers. This isn&#8217;t particularly complex or original but it maintains interest as well as a consistent quality and emotion.<\/p>\n<p>Another solid release from this obscure label. Although the sound here isn&#8217;t particularly original or profound I&#8217;m definitely digging what they&#8217;re putting down.
