Hive Mind (Los Angeles, CA)
Hive Mind is a brutal patch of analog smog birthed in the bleak landscape of Detroit, Michigan and currently casting shadows in Los Angeles, California. A constantly throbbing, full frequency signal transmitter which is only limited by the physical restraints of time and the artificial constructs of society, Hive Mind has both blessed and cursed us with dozens of musical communications in almost every imaginable format.
Pushing the limits of analog media and revealing the coldness inherent in the digital, the most striking aspects of these releases is how they are so easily conceivable as infinite: the slow movement of the tectonic plates, the threat of a horrible tsunami, and the utter depression of an endless stream of sinister colored sunsets … this is Hive Mind. In live performance Hive Mind is a crouching shadow, blind and incapable of normal human communication – the sounds unleashed are like an army of deaf and dumb synthesizers, stumbling in glue fumes and eventually revealing their position in a terrifying free-fall into the bottomless pit of humanity.

Shredded Nerve is a project created by Justin Lakes in late 2013 after the dissolution of the Pusdrainer project. Shredded Nerve utilizes tape loops,synthesizer,and found objects to create stressful layered harsh noise compositions. Touring in support of the “Failure to Maintain” double tape on Chondritic Sound.
Redrot (Farmington Hills, MI)
Redrot is the project of noise prodigy Ryan Oppermann who is also the man behind such seminal projects as Klinikal Skum, Neuntoter der Plage and Xombie. With Redrot Oppermann focuses on the more industrial and rhythmic styles of noise which can span from pounding beats to harrowing abstract junk noise attacks. Often coupled with wavering vocal attacks Oppermann builds a sickened atmosphere and driving emotions of the basest variety.
Scant (Fairfax, VA)
Scant is the solo harshnoise/ambient/drone project of Matt Boettke (Sex Complex, Widow’s bath). Utilizing oscillators as well as junk metal loops and other looping samples he tries to walk the line between Harsh Noise/Ambient/Drone/HNW/Death Industrial amongst other genres while staying unique to a sound of his own. Dedication to constant sounds and full-on immersion experiences, a collage of minimal but microtonal focused sounds.
